Transport Manager

Transport Manager – Sidcup (DA14) | Immediate Start

Trax is currently recruiting for an experienced Transport Manager to join our client based in Sidcup. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of transport operations and play a key role in driving performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee daily transport operations, ensuring on-time, in-full deliveries

* Lead, motivate, and develop the transport team to achieve operational excellence

* Manage resources effectively while ensuring compliance with WTD and EU driver hours regulations

* Maintain O Licence compliance, including service schedules and defect reporting

* Promote and uphold a strong health & safety culture across all operations

* Work collaboratively with internal teams to improve processes and efficiencies

* Manage third-party hauliers, cost control, and investigate non-conformance issues

* Monitor KPIs and financial performance to ensure targets are consistently met

Requirements:

* Proven experience in transport management

* Background in waste operations is essential

* Experience with skip lorries and RoRo vehicles

* FORS experience is desirable (training can be provided if required)
