Salary: £55,000 + Package
Overview
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established and growing contractor specialising in food retail rollouts and refurbishment projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to take ownership of multiple high-value schemes across the UK.
The Role
As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of multiple projects from pre-construction through to final account. Projects are typically fast-track refurbishments and rollouts within the food retail sector, requiring strong organisational skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines without compromising quality or cost control.
Key Responsibilities
Full commercial management of food retail rollout and refurbishment projects
Cost planning, procurement, and subcontractor management
Preparation and submission of valuations, variations, and final accounts
Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and in line with client expectations
Working closely with project managers and site teams to drive performance
Managing multiple projects simultaneously across nationwide locationsAbout You
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within fast-paced environments
Background in retail, ideally food retail refurbishments or rollouts
Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise effectively
Comfortable with nationwide travel as required
Degree-qualified or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (preferred)What's on Offer
