Site Manager
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the installation and setup of temporary welfare facilities on a construction site in Kensington. This is a short-term role requiring strong organisational skills and the ability to manage fast-paced site activities to ensure timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day site operations related to welfare facility installation
* Coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, and logistics (cabins, utilities, fittings)
* Ensure all works comply with health & safety regulations and company standards
* Oversee installation of services including water, power, and drainage connections
* Monitor progress against programme and resolve any on-site issues efficiently
* Conduct site inspections and maintain quality control
* Liaise with the main contractor, suppliers, and other stakeholders
* Maintain site records, permits, and compliance documentation
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction or similar projects
* Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification
* CSCS card (Black or equivalent)
* First Aid at Work certification preferred
* Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and site compliance
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to hit the ground running and deliver within a tight timeframe
