Quantity Surveyor

We are working with an established developer near Peterborough on the lookout for an experienced Site QS to join them on a self-build industrial unit scheme. The client operates on a self-delivery model, so you'll be working closely with their team in a hands-on, client-side capacity.

The role

* Cost planning, budgeting and cost control

* Subcontractor procurement and tendering

* Measurement, valuations and payment management

* Variation and change control

* Final account negotiation

* General QS support across the project lifecycle

What you'll need

* Solid QS experience on industrial, warehouse or similar commercial schemes

* Comfortable in a site-based, client-side or intermediary QS role

* Able to start within approximately one month

* MRICS preferred but not essential — experience is what counts

Terms

The client is open to both full-time permanent and freelance/contract arrangements. Remuneration is negotiable depending on experience and preferred working arrangement
