Salary: £30-35,000

A forward-thinking, design-driven architectural practice is seeking to appoint an Architectural Technician to join their team in Southampton. The studio has an established track record of delivering successful projects alongside leading national house builders and continues to benefit from a strong and consistent pipeline of residential work. The role of Architectural Technician will involve:

* Producing accurate, detailed technical drawings for large-scale residential developments
* Working closely with architects, planners, consultants and clients to ensure design intent is delivered in line with regulations
* Ensuring compliance with UK Building Regulations and NHBC requirements throughout all project stages
* Supporting and assisting junior members of the technical team where required
* Attending project and client meetings, contributing effectively to discussions and coordination

The successful Architectural Technician will have:

* A degree or HNC/HND in Architectural Technology or a similar discipline
* Demonstrable experience working with national house builders within the UK
* Strong technical ability with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Proficiency in both Revit and AutoCAD
* Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction standards
* Ability to independently manage workload across multiple live projects
* Strong communication skills with a collaborative and proactive approach
