Key Responsibilities

* Lead and manage the full bid lifecycle from pre-qualification through to tender submission

* Develop compelling, high-quality bid submissions that align with client requirements and company strategy

* Coordinate cross-functional teams including pre-construction, design, commercial, and operational staff

* Analyse tender documents, identify key win themes, and implement winning strategies

* Manage bid programmes, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality

* Review and refine written content to ensure clarity, consistency, and impact

* Conduct post-tender reviews and continuous improvement of bid processes

* Build strong internal and external relationships to support successful bid outcomes

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Bid Manager within the construction industry, ideally with a Tier 1 or large main contractor

* Strong understanding of the UK construction market and procurement processes

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail

* Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

* Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills

* Experience working on large-scale, complex construction projects is highly desirable
