Site Engineer

Site Engineer – Groundworks | Coventry | £300–£350/day

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a well-established groundworks subcontractor delivering large-scale commercial construction projects in Coventry.

This is an excellent opportunity to get involved in a major scheme with a busy contractor that has a strong pipeline of ongoing work.

The Role:

* Setting out for groundworks packages including foundations, drainage (deep & shallow), and external works

* Working from technical drawings and ensuring accuracy on site

* Completing as-built surveys and maintaining site records

* Carrying out QA checks and ensuring compliance with specifications

* Liaising with site management and subcontractors to ensure smooth delivery

* Supporting the project to meet programme deadlines

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Site Engineer within groundworks

* Strong setting out skills (GPS / Total Station)

* Experience on large commercial projects preferred

* Good understanding of QA processes and site documentation

* Valid CSCS card (essential)

* Own kit not required
