This morning one of my clients called and told me he needs a Senior Construction Manager that can start very quickly, they do not have the resource internally to fill the Construction Manager requirements that are needed.

The client is an industry leader in the interiors world and having the opportunity to work for them doesn't come too often so this is a good opportunity.

They're looking for a Senior Construction Manager to have the ability to take control of co-ordination, dry lining, blockwork, and the fit out of utility areas. This is a major project and is worth £250m.

SMSTS
CSCS
First Aid
Knowledge of commercial fit outResponsibilities for the Construction Manager

Attending and contributing in contractor prestart meetings.
Attending and contributing in design team meetings.
Chairing weekly sub-contractor progress meetings, taking and issuing meeting minutes.
Attending safe starts.
Approving RAMS.
Attending DABS and contributing to the meeting, discussing coordination with other trades. If necessary taking the meeting, issuing the DABS report to all other team members.
Enforcing H&S on site.
Identifying potential problems, offering buildability solutions.
Someone who is tech savvy.
Someone who can engage with the supply chain and other team memberWhat is being offered
