Site Engineer – Precast (12 Month Contract)

About the Role:
My client is a leading sub contractor specialising in precast concrete solutions. They are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join the team on a 12-month contract, working on an industrial unit project. This is a great opportunity to be involved in a technically demanding precast installation scheme.

Key Responsibilities:

* Reporting to and working closely with the Project Manager and Site Foreman

* Assisting with site set up and ensuring full compliance with health & safety regulations

* Carrying out all setting out duties associated with precast elements (panels, columns, beams)

* Managing day-to-day engineering activities related to precast installation

* Coordinating with subcontractors and crane teams for safe and accurate installation

* Raising and resolving technical queries related to design and precast connections

Requirements:

* Valid CSCS card (essential)

* SMSTS or SSSTS (desirable, not essential)

* Proven experience setting out for precast concrete or structural elements

* Strong understanding of drawings, tolerances, and installation sequencing

* Degree in Civil Engineering or time-served background

* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
