Working Supervisor / Ganger needed in Stevenage

Location: Stevenage
Rate: £23.00–£25.00 per hour
Duration: Up to 30 weeks
Hours: 7:30am to 5:00pm
Pay: Minimum 9 hours paid per day
Job Type: Temporary

Stridden Limited is recruiting on behalf of an established contractor for an experienced Working Supervisor / Ganger to join a busy commercial site in Stevenage.

This is a great opportunity for a reliable and hands-on supervisor who can lead from the front, keep works on programme, and maintain high health and safety standards on site.

Key Duties:

* Supervising operatives on site carrying out brick slip removal

* Ensuring works are progressing in line with programme, or ahead of schedule where possible

* Liaising with the site management team

* Maintaining site health and safety standards at all times

* Supporting the team on site where required

Requirements:

* Previous experience as a Working Supervisor / Ganger is essential

* Previous experience in demolition / cladding a benefit

* Blue CSCS card as a minimum

* Gold or Black CSCS card would be an advantage

* Full PPE required, including hard hat, hi-vis, and safety boots

* Must be physically fit and capable of manual handling

* One recent work reference required at application stage

* Must be able to travel to site reliably
