Quantity Surveyor

Blue Water Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a growing team in Manchester, working within the fit-out sector.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare detailed cost estimates and manage project budgets, including ongoing cost analysis and expenditure control

* Administer contracts and subcontracts, ensuring compliance with terms while managing variations and change orders

* Oversee procurement processes, including tendering, supplier evaluation, and negotiation of subcontract agreements

* Produce regular financial reports and forecasts, managing cash flow and ensuring accurate invoicing and payments

Key Requirements:

* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in quantity surveying, ideally within the fit-out sector

* Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and cost control

* Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
