High-End Commercial Fit‑Out | London (Site‑Based)
Up to £80,000 + Travel Paid
We are working with a leading high-end commercial fit‑out contractor, renowned for delivering technically complex, design‑led projects across London’s most prestigious commercial spaces. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Senior Health & Safety Manager to join the team on a predominantly site‑based role across London.
The Role
Reporting into the Head of Health and Safety, you will play a key role in ensuring robust health and safety standards are embedded across our projects from inception through to completion.
Key responsibilities include:
Carrying out regular site inspections and audits across multiple live commercial fit‑out projects
Leading and managing accident and incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective actions
Providing clear, practical health and safety guidance to site teams, subcontractors, and project managers
Liaising closely with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders, representing the business in a professional and solutions‑focused manner
Supporting project teams with method statements, risk assessments, and safe systems of work
Monitoring compliance with UK health and safety legislation, company procedures, and client requirements
Contributing to continuous improvement of health and safety culture across the business
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be a proactive and commercially aware health and safety professional with strong communication skills and proven site experience.
You will ideally have:
Demonstrable experience in a site‑based Health & Safety role within construction or commercial fit‑out
A strong background in site inspections and accident investigations
Experience working on high‑end or fast‑track commercial projects
The confidence to liaise effectively with clients, principal designers, subcontractors, and senior stakeholders
Excellent organisational and reporting skills
Relevant Health & Safety qualifications (e.g. NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent)
A pragmatic, hands‑on approach with the credibility to influence site teams
The Package
Salary up to £80,000, dependent on experience
Travel costs fully paid
