The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor to join the team, taking a key role on a £6m fit-out project in Central London. This is a great chance to work on a flagship scheme and gain exposure within a dynamic and growing contractor.

Key Responsibilities

Managing the commercial aspects of a £6m fit-out project from pre-construction through to final account
Assisting with or leading procurement of subcontract packages
Preparing and managing budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts
Valuations, variations, and cost reporting
Liaising with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure commercial objectives are met
Supporting the delivery of projects on time and within budget
Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunitiesRequirements

Experience working as an Assistant QS or QS within the fitout market
Previous experience on fit-out or refurbishment projects is highly desirable
Strong understanding of commercial processes and contract administration
Ability to work independently on project-based responsibilities
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Degree qualified or working towards a relevant qualification (e.g., Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management)What's on Offer
