Project Manager (Groundworks) – Commercial Project

Exeter | Full-Time | Two plus years work

Introduction

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced project manager to oversee a large groundworks package on a large multi-million pound commercial new build.

The Role

Managing groundworks on a new build accommodation site.
Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Ensuring health & safety compliance across all operations.
Monitoring project progress, budgets, and timelines.
Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
Reporting regularly to senior leadership.

Requirements

Proven experience in groundworks or civil engineering project management.
Strong leadership and organisational skills.
Excellent knowledge of health & safety regulations.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Commercial awareness and budget management experience.
Relevant qualifications (SMSTS, CSCS, or equivalent preferred).
