Mechanical Design Engineer

We’re working with an ambitious and people-focused engineering consultancy that is expanding its team and looking to appoint a Mechanical Engineer to support the delivery of projects across healthcare, education, and the wider public sector.

The Role

* Lead and support the delivery of mechanical design from concept through to completion

* Work on a range of healthcare, education, and public-sector projects

* Coordinate with electrical teams to deliver fully integrated building services solutions

* Build strong relationships with clients, including NHS trusts and local authorities

* Mentor junior and apprentice engineers

* Contribute to project success — with bonus opportunities linked to performance

What We’re Looking For

* Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering (or similar)

* Around 3+ years’ experience in building services

* Experience (or ambition) to lead M&E project delivery

* Strong communication and client-facing skills

* Good understanding of industry standards and regulations

* Working towards Chartered Engineer (CEng) status (full support provided)
