About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Site Manager to oversee all M&E aspects of a major commercial construction project. You will be responsible for coordinating subcontractors, ensuring quality delivery, and maintaining strict adherence to safety and project timelines. This is a key leadership role requiring both technical expertise and strong on site management skills.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and coordinate all mechanical and electrical works on site

* Oversee subcontractors, ensuring work is delivered to specification, on time, and within budget

* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company standards

* Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications

* Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks

* Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure smooth communication

* Monitor progress and prepare reports on project milestones

* Identify and resolve any on site issues efficiently

Requirements

* Proven experience as an M&E Site Manager on commercial construction projects

* Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and installations

* Relevant qualifications in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Building Services

* SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification

* CSCS card (Management level)

* Enhanced DBS check required

* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
