Lead Passive Fire Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Lead Passive Fire Surveyor to join our growing team, based in Essex with hybrid working available. This is a senior role for a knowledgeable professional with strong technical expertise in compartmentation surveys and fire door inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

– Lead and deliver passive fire surveys across residential, commercial, and public sector properties

– Conduct detailed inspections of fire doors, fire stopping, and compartmentation works

– Produce clear, accurate survey reports with remedial recommendations

– Manage survey programmes, prioritise workloads, and support project delivery

– Provide technical guidance to clients, contractors, and internal teams

– Ensure works comply with current fire safety legislation and industry standards

– Mentor junior surveyors and uphold quality standards across the team

Requirements:

– Proven experience in passive fire surveying, including both compartmentation and fire doors

– Strong knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and best practice

– Experience producing technical reports and managing client relationships

– Leadership or supervisory experience preferred

– Full UK driving licence
