We are working with a well-established and forward-thinking engineering contractor to assist them in hiring a Graduate Engineer for their growing team in Edinburgh.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated graduate to kick-start their career within a supportive environment, gaining hands-on experience across a variety of civil engineering and infrastructure projects. You'll be joining a collaborative team where professional development and progression are actively encouraged.
As the Graduate Engineer your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
* Assisting in the planning, design, and delivery of engineering projects
* Supporting site operations and ensuring works are carried out safely and efficiently
* Preparing technical reports, drawings, and documentation
* Liaising with project managers, clients, and subcontractors
* Monitoring project progress and helping to resolve any on-site issues
* Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:
* A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude
* Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
* Knowledge of relevant engineering software is advantageous
