Construo Recruitment is working with a well-established and highly respected groundworks and civil engineering contractor to recruit an experienced Estimator. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business delivering a strong pipeline of projects across the South West.

The Role As an Estimator, you will play a key role in securing new work by producing accurate and competitive tenders across a variety of groundwork projects.

Key Responsibilities:

· Preparing detailed cost estimates for groundwork and civil engineering schemes

· Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation

· Obtaining and analysing quotes from suppliers and subcontractors

· Identifying risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost efficiencies

· Working closely with commercial and operational teams during tender stages

Requirements

· Proven experience as an Estimator within groundworks (essential)

· Strong understanding of civil engineering and groundwork packages

· Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications

· High level of commercial awareness and accuracy

· Strong communication and negotiation skills
