Building Surveyor

A respected property and construction consultancy is looking to appoint a Building Surveyor to join its growing Exeter team.

The Role

As a Building Surveyor, you will work across a broad range of sectors including education, commercial, retail, and care. The role will involve both professional surveying instructions and the delivery of refurbishment and improvement projects.

Key responsibilities include:
Delivering a full range of core building surveying services across varied projects
Assisting with and managing refurbishment, repair, and upgrade schemes
Preparing technical reports, specifications, and schedules of work
Supporting contract administration and project management duties
Building strong relationships with clients, consultants, and internal teams
Producing and reviewing technical drawings using CAD software
Contributing to schemes that provide positive and meaningful outcomes The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking an ambitious and capable Building Surveyor who can demonstrate:

A degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline
Previous experience within a building surveying environment
Strong technical knowledge of building fabric, maintenance, and refurbishment works
CAD proficiency (essential)
Revit experience (advantageous but not essential)
Strong communication skills with confidence in client-facing situations
