Location: Tunbridge Wells
Salary: circa £40,000

A design-led architectural studio is seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join its team in Tunbridge Wells. The successful candidate will ideally be a Chartered Technologist with significant post-qualification experience, bringing strong technical expertise and a methodical, detail-oriented approach to project delivery. Working closely with Architects, you will play a key role in developing and delivering robust technical solutions across a range of projects.

Role & Responsibilities

* Produce detailed technical drawings and comprehensive construction information
* Contribute across multiple project stages, supporting both design development and technical delivery
* Collaborate closely with architects, consultants, and the wider project team
* Ensure all work complies with current UK Building Regulations and relevant legislation
* Assist with project coordination and help resolve technical design issues
* Support delivery with a practical and solutions-focused approach

Requirements

* Chartered Architectural Technologist (CIAT accredited)
* Strong experience within a UK architectural practice
* Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
* Experience with Photoshop, SketchUp, or similar visualisation tools
* Sound understanding of UK Building Regulations, British Standards, and statutory requirements
* Demonstrated technical ability with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage workload effectively and adapt to changing project demands
* Interest in sustainable and environmentally responsive design
