Operations Coordinator

A wellestablished, multidisciplinary construction consultancy is seeking a highly organised and proactive Operations Coordinator to support a busy Building Surveying team.

This is a key operational role within the business, acting as the central point of coordination for a team of surveyors. You’ll ensure diaries, appointments, documentation and client communications are managed efficiently and professionally.

This is not a passive administrative position. The successful candidate will enjoy taking ownership, solving problems, keeping people organised and helping the team operate at its best.

Key Responsibilities:

* Managing surveyor diaries, appointments and day-to-day scheduling

* Coordinating resident, client and contractor access arrangements

* Liaising professionally with clients, managing agents, consultants and contractors

* Preparing report templates, documents and professional correspondence

* Maintaining internal trackers, job records and workflow systems

* Monitoring deadlines and proactively chasing outstanding actions

* Assisting with fee proposals and invoicing administration

* Providing general operational and administrative support

* Identifying opportunities to improve internal systems, processes and team efficiency

About You:

* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* Confident dealing with clients and external stakeholders

* Able to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

* Comfortable working independently and using initiative

* Strong IT skills, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel

* Calm under pressure and solutions-focused

* Experience within property, construction, surveying, housing or professional services is highly advantageous
