Northeast London (with regular travel to London sites)

We are working with a leading main contractor to appoint a Senior Technical Manager to join their established team, based in Northeast London with regular travel across London project sites.

This is a senior-level position overseeing a portfolio of complex RC frame residential developments, including a mix of high-rise (HRB) and non-HRB schemes.

You will play a key role from pre-construction through to delivery, ensuring technical excellence across multiple projects. This position also involves managing and mentoring a small team, making it ideal for someone looking to step into, or further develop within, a leadership role.

Key responsibilities include:

* Leading technical delivery across multiple RC frame residential schemes

* Driving pre-construction activities, including design coordination and risk management

* Managing and supporting a small team of technical professionals

* Liaising with internal teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery

* Maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and technical assurance

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Technical Manager / Senior Technical Manager within a main contractor or developer

* Strong background in RC frame residential projects

* Solid pre-construction experience (essential)

* Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively

* Strong leadership and communication skills

Desirable (not essential):

* Experience working on HRB (High-Risk Buildings)

* Exposure to PCSA stages
