Mechanical Site Manager

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a Mechanical contractor who is seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor / Site Manager to join their team on a long-term commercial project in Birmingham.

This is a minimum 50-week contract working on a £7.5M M&E office development, offering strong continuity of work and the opportunity to be part of a well-established and growing contractor with a strong pipeline of commercial and education projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise mechanical installation works on a live construction site

* Work closely with the wider project management team to ensure successful delivery

* Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and site teams

* Interpret mechanical drawings and assist with coordination

* Support pre-construction and design input where required

* Assist with site H&S compliance and documentation

* Oversee and mentor site teams, including apprentices

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor or Site Manager within M&E

* Strong site-based supervisory background on commercial projects

* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

* Ability to manage subcontractors and site teams effectively

* SSSTS or SMSTS certification (essential)

* Organised, reliable, and strong attention to detail
