We are a busy, family-run civil engineering and groundwork company based in the Horsham area, and we are looking for a reliable and hardworking HGV Driver / Plant Operator / Yardman to join our team.

This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working both on the road and in the yard, and who takes pride in being part of a close-knit, hardworking team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Driving a HGV roll-on/roll-off lorry

* Transporting plant machinery, aggregates, and muck-away materials

* Operating plant machinery (primarily diggers)

* Assisting with general yard duties and organisation

* Supporting site operations as required

* Ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently

Requirements:

* Valid HGV licence

* Proven experience operating diggers (tickets not essential, but experience is)

* Must be based locally to the Horsham area

* Strong work ethic and reliability

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable (but not essential):

* Mechanical experience

* Fabrication/welding skills

* Previous experience within groundwork or civil engineering
