SITE MANAGER
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all phases of construction/build projects from pre-construction to handover
Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met
Coordinate and supervise site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Monitor project budgets, costs, and resource allocation
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are met
Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and stakeholders
Resolve on-site issues, delays, and technical challenges promptly
Prepare progress reports and communicate updates to senior management
Ensure all work is completed according to specifications and contractual requirements
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience in construction, engineering, or project/build management
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Good understanding of health & safety legislation (e.g., CDM Regulations in the UK)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asta Powerproject, or similar)
Qualifications
Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred)
Professional certifications (e.g., CIOB, PMP) are advantageous
Valid CSCS card or equivalent (depending on region)
