Electrical Site Manager – Contract Opportunity

A client operating within the commercial and industrial building services sector is looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Site Manager on a contract basis.

Day Rate: £300 (Ltd / CIS )
Location: Durham
Duration: 6 monthly initially – may be longer

This role will suit someone confident in taking full responsibility for electrical packages on live sites, ensuring smooth delivery from start to finish.

Role Overview:

* Lead and coordinate all on-site electrical works

* Supervise subcontractors and ensure productivity targets are met

* Work closely with project management and design teams to resolve site issues

* Monitor progress against programme and report updates regularly

* Maintain high standards of health & safety compliance, including RAMS adherence

* Carry out inspections and ensure quality control across installations

What we’re looking for:

* Demonstrable experience managing electrical installations on construction sites

* Strong understanding of commercial/industrial electrical systems

* Valid SMSTS or SSSTS qualification (or equivalent)

* ECS/CSCS card essential

* Strong organisational and leadership abilities

* Confident communicator able to manage multiple site stakeholders
