Repairs planner (Ellesmere Port)

Job Title: Repairs planner – Ellesmere Port Repairs Planner / Scheduler – Social Housing

Ellesmere Port 
£16.90 per hour (Umbrella PAYE)  – likely take home Or 
£14.25 PAYE –
Likely weekly take home after deductions – £390- £425 (depending how your paid). 
8am until 4:30pm – flex on start and finish times 
Temp (3 months initially) Immediate Start

We’re currently recruiting for a Repairs Planner / Service Controller to join a busy repairs and Maintenance  contractor based in Ellesmere port helping organising repairs job to housing stock. 

This is a fast-paced role where you’ll be responsible for planning and scheduling day-to-day/reactive repairs for trades across a housing portfolio.

The Role
• Scheduling and allocating work to operatives
• Managing diaries and workloads for engineers/trades
• Handling reactive and planned maintenance jobs
• Liaising with tenants and internal teams
• Updating systems and ensuring jobs are completed efficiently

What We’re Looking For
• Experience in repairs planning / scheduling (social housing / HA ideal)
• Strong knowledge of day-to-day/reactive repairs
• Experience using systems like MRI /DRS/ etc
• Good Excel and general IT skills
• Strong communication skills (lots of phone work
