We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the delivery of responsive repairs and planned maintenance programmes for the Social Housing sector. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring high-quality, cost-effective, and resident-focused services that meet regulatory standards and organisational objectives.
You will oversee day-to-day operations, manage contractor performance, and drive continuous improvement across repairs and maintenance services. The role requires a strong balance of strategic oversight and hands-on operational management, and gives a unique opportunity to grow and develop a business unit, offering a fantastic working environment.

Duties include-

Lead and manage the delivery of responsive repairs, voids, and planned maintenance works.

Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety, regulatory, and quality standards.

Monitor and improve contractor and supplier performance through robust KPIs and SLAs.
*
Manage budgets effectively, ensuring value for money and cost control.
*
Develop and implement maintenance strategies aligned with asset management plans.
*
Drive service improvements to enhance resident satisfaction and operational efficiency.
*
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of supervisors and operational staff.
*
Handle escalated complaints and complex cases, ensuring timely resolution.
*
Produce performance reports and provide insights to senior leadership.
Skills & Experience
*
Proven experience in an operations or service delivery management role within social housing maintenance ad refurbishment.
*
Strong knowledge of responsive repairs, voids, and planned maintenance programmes.
*
Demonstrable experience managing contractors and large-scale service delivery contracts.
*
Good understanding of health and safety legislation and housing regulations.
*
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
*
Strong financial and budget management capability.
*
Results-driven with a focus on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction
