Liverpool, Refurbishment of a Church into a School building – £2.5 M
£300 Per Day

Start Date: 1st July 2026

25-Week Contract

Blaymires Recruitment is representing a fit-out contractor who is looking for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to join the business.

You will be responsible for managing the refurbishment of an existing church into a school building in Liverpool, with a project value of £2.5M.

The project will start on the 1st of July and will run for approximately 25 weeks, and includes a range of internal and external works.

Project Scope:

* Conversion of a church into an educational facility

* Multiple refurbishment phases (internal and external)

* Mechanical and electrical installations

* Painting and decorating works

* Car park construction and associated external/grounds works

Key Responsibilities:

* Day-to-day site management and coordination of trades

* Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget

* Managing subcontractors and site personnel

* Maintaining high standards of quality and compliance

* Liaising with clients, consultants, and stakeholders

* Overseeing health & safety procedures and site documentation

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Site Manager on refurbishment/conversion projects

* Strong background in managing multi-trade construction works

* SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certification (essential)

* Excellent organisational and communication skills

* Ability to drive programme and maintain project deadlines
