Site Manager / Senior Site Manager – Wastewater (AMP8)
 
Location: Winchester
Rate: £450 per day (Inside IR35, DOE)
Duration: 12 months+ (ongoing pipeline)

We're working with a leading infrastructure contractor delivering a major programme of wastewater schemes across the Winchester region as part of AMP8. With a strong pipeline secured, they are looking to appoint experienced Site Managers / Senior Site Managers to take ownership of key schemes from early delivery through to completion.
 
This is a long-term opportunity to join a well-established delivery team on secured frameworks, offering continuity of work and the chance to play a key role in critical water infrastructure upgrades.
You'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards. You'll lead site teams and subcontractors, driving performance while maintaining strong HSEQ compliance.
 
·Take full responsibility for site operations across wastewater schemes
·Lead and coordinate site teams and subcontractors to meet programme targets
·Ensure all works are delivered in line with HSEQ standards and company procedures
·Develop and manage short-term programmes and lookaheads
·Review and implement RAMS, ensuring clear communication across site teams
·Drive efficient resource planning to maintain productivity and cost control
·Maintain accurate site records, including as-built documentation
·Engage with stakeholders, including local communities where required
·Proven experience as a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager within water/wastewater or heavy civils
·Strong knowledge of HSEQ requirements within regulated environments
·Confident managing multiple trades and subcontractors on live sites
·SMSTS and CSCS (Site Manager level minimum)
·First Aid at Work
·Ideally EUSR Water Hygiene (or willing to obtain)
·Temporary Works / Appointed Person experience beneficial
