HSE Manager

Job Title: HSE Manager – Project-Based (Onsite)
Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 + Onsite Bonus + Car Allowance + Travel Expenses
Location: Project-Based

We are seeking an experienced HSE Manager to join a dynamic team delivering high-impact health, safety, and environmental solutions for construction and manufacturing projects.

This exciting, project-based role offers an opportunity to work with a leading consultancy, contributing to the safety culture of multiple sites across the UK, and occasionally in the EU.

Key Responsibilities:

Client-side representation: Act as the primary contact for all HSE-related matters on construction sites, ensuring compliance with regulations and client requirements.

Safety Management: Implement and oversee safety and environmental procedures, including conducting thorough risk assessments, preparing method statements, and creating traffic management plans.

Auditing & Reporting: Carry out audits to support and strengthen the existing management systems, and generate detailed reports for senior management.

Advisory Role: Provide expert guidance and advice to site managers, supervisors, and teams on health, safety, and environmental issues, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.

Collaboration: Work closely with Site Managers to maintain high HSE standards, ensuring safe practices are followed consistently across all projects.

Key Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in HSE management within large-scale construction or manufacturing projects.
  • Nebosh general qualification
  • A valid driving license is essential, as the role involves travel across various sites.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
