Location: Central London (Multi-Site / Mobile Role)
Salary: £85,000–£90,000 + package
Why This Role?
This is a senior technical compliance role taking full ownership of NICEIC certification, electrical assurance, and AP support across multiple high-value projects in Central London.
The position is predominantly off-the-tools and focused on technical oversight, auditing, certification, and governance of electrical installation works. You will act as a key technical authority across projects, ensuring compliance, safety, and quality standards are consistently maintained.
You will also support Authorised Person (AP) operations, including LV shutdowns, isolations, and energisation activities, working closely with site teams and senior stakeholders to deliver safe, compliant outcomes in complex live environments.
What You’ll Do
Act as NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor, maintaining individual and company certification status
Oversee and audit electrical installation works across multiple live projects (up to £10m value)
Review, verify, and countersign Electrical Installation Certificates and associated compliance documentation (up to 250+ pages per project)
Carry out technical audits of ongoing works, installations, and subcontractor activity
Issue snagging reports, non-conformance notices, and ensure timely close-out of defects
Support design and technical queries in line with BS7671 and relevant electrical standards
Act as technical authority for electrical compliance disputes and project queries
Support LV Authorised Person duties, including shutdowns, isolations, and main power-on procedures
Oversee SAP-level switching activities and ensure safe systems of work are followed
Review test results and commissioning data to ensure accuracy and compliance
Support and improve electrical safety procedures, ESSoW, and operational processes
Coordinate with project teams to ensure smooth delivery and final certification sign-off
Maintain clear, accurate, and auditable project documentation across all works
Work across multiple sites with occasional travel and out-of-hours support where required
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in electrical testing, inspection, or NICEIC QS/EQS roles
Strong working knowledge of BS7671 and electrical compliance frameworks
Experience auditing electrical installation works and reviewing technical certification
Background in managing subcontractors and overseeing large-scale installation projects
LV Authorised Person (AP) qualification and practical operational experience
Ability to manage technical compliance issues and stakeholder communication confidently
Strong documentation, reporting, and organisational skills
Comfortable operating across multiple complex projects simultaneously
Desirable Experience
Previous NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor or equivalent accreditation
HVAP or SAP experience
Experience managing LV shutdowns and energisation programmes
SSSTS / SMSTS / IOSH Managing Safely
Background in complex commercial, infrastructure, or critical environments
