Site Manager

Platinum Search Recruitment are working with a well-established and growing landscaping contractor to recruit an experienced Site Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and can confidently lead a team on site.

Site Manager Role

As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are completed to a high standard, on time, and in line with client expectations. This is a hands-on role where leadership, organisation, and technical knowledge are key.

Site Manager Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee and manage landscaping and groundworks projects from start to finish

* Lead, supervise, and motivate site teams

* Read and interpret scaled drawings and set out works accurately

* Ensure all work is completed to a high standard within deadlines

* Maintain clear communication with clients and company directors

* Keep accurate daily records and provide progress updates

* Ensure compliance with health & safety standards

Site Manager Requirements:

* Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a similar role

* Full, clean UK driving licence (essential)

* Strong knowledge of:

* Groundworks and setting out

* Paving (natural stone, porcelain, concrete)

* Brickwork, turfing (real & artificial)

* Driveways, fencing, sleeper work, and timber structures

* Skilled machinery operator

* Ability to lead teams and work independently

* Strong communication and organisational skills

Experience in resin-bound surfacing is advantageous but not essential.
