Opportunity for a Project Manager with a deep technical foundation in construction or building services. This is a great chance to manage projects of scale within one of the world’s leading aerospace organizations.
The Role
As the Building & Construction Project Leader, you are the bridge between the boardroom and the building site. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of critical infrastructure projects, major plant replacements, and facility refurbishments.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead initial feasibility and business case approval through to design, specification, and final handover.
Experience of End-to-End CAPEX Management
Set up and manage Multi-Functional Project Teams (MFTs), including external architects, QS, and structural engineers.
Proactively manage project delivery plans, identifying risks before they become issues and optimizing costs without compromising quality.
Conduct audits and monitor progress on-site, ensuring absolute adherence to H&S matters (CDM 2015) and technical specifications.
Required Experience:
Extensive experience in a Senior PM role, specifically managing Capital Investment (CAPEX) projects.
You understand the complexities of working within a corporate/client environment
Ability to influence and communicate effectively with high-level stakeholders, internal customers, and external professionals.
Qualifications:
HNC/ONC or equivalent in Building Engineering Services or a related design discipline.
Membership in CIBSE, IMechE, IET, or APM is preferred.
Experience in Defence or highly regulated industrial environments is highly preferred.
SMSTS or CCNSG is highly desirable.
NEBOSH experience or certification is a distinct advantage.
Proficiency in MS Project and G-Suite/SharePoint
