Overview

A respected MEP contractor is looking for a Mechanical Site Manager to deliver mechanical services installations across the Thames Valley region. Projects include commercial developments, laboratories, student accommodation, and high‑end residential schemes. The ideal candidate will be confident managing multiple stakeholders and ensuring high‑quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee mechanical services installation across multiple sites in the Thames Valley

Manage subcontractors, site teams, and supply chain partners

Ensure compliance with project drawings, specifications, and building regulations

Drive site productivity and maintain programme milestones

Conduct site audits, toolbox talks, and enforce health & safety standards

Coordinate with design teams, project managers, and commissioning engineers

Track progress, report on site performance, and support project close‑out

Troubleshoot technical or logistical issues to keep projects on track

Requirements

Proven experience in mechanical building‑services site management

Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and public health systems

Ability to manage multiple projects or phases simultaneously

Confident communicator with strong organisational skills

SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS, First Aid (preferred)

Full UK driving licence
