My client is a highly respected nationwide principal contractor with an established reputation for delivering high-quality industrial, commercial and education refurbishment / fit-out projects, typically ranging from £150k to £7.5m in value.
With over two decades of sustained growth, the business has evolved into a major national operator, supported by multiple offices across the UK and a strong portfolio of repeat business with blue-chip and long-standing clients.
As part of the next exciting phase of its strategic growth plan, the company is now launching a new regional operation in Scotland creating a rare opportunity for an experienced senior leader to take ownership of a region from day one and shape its future success.
The Opportunity
This appointment is for a Regional Director who will take full responsibility for establishing and developing the Scottish region.
This role offers genuine autonomy and strategic influence. You will be tasked with building the regional presence, driving turnover, developing client relationships and creating a sustainable delivery team.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Leading the launch and development of the Scotland region
* Securing new work through existing national client relationships
* Developing new business opportunities and strategic partnerships across Scotland
* Building long-term relationships with key decision-makers, consultants and end users
* Overseeing pre-construction, commercial and operational performance across all projects
* Managing profitability, forecasting and regional P&L performance
* Recruiting, mentoring and growing a regional team as the business expands
* Ensuring projects are delivered safely, profitably and to the company’s quality standards
* Acting as the senior face of the business within the Scottish market
Candidate Profile
This role will suit an ambitious senior construction professional currently operating as:

You will ideally have:
* Strong experience within refurbishment / fit-out projects
* Existing market knowledge within Scotland
* A proven ability to win and develop business
* Strong leadership capability with commercial awareness
* Experience managing multiple projects and teams
* A network of client and consultant relationships that can support growth
