The Opportunity

We are recruiting for an experienced Internal Fit Out Manager to join a major commercial construction project in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-specification development delivering premium internal finishes within a large-scale commercial environment.

The role is with a well-established regional contractor known for delivering high-quality construction, refurbishment, and fit out projects across the commercial, education, healthcare, and public sectors. The business has built a strong reputation for quality delivery, attention to detail, and maintaining long-standing relationships with clients throughout the South West.

The Role

As Internal Fit Out Manager, you will take responsibility for overseeing all internal packages and finishing works across the project, ensuring quality, programme, and health and safety standards are maintained throughout.

You will be coordinating subcontractors and trades across multiple internal work areas, driving programme and ensuring the project is delivered to a high-end specification. This role will suit someone with strong commercial fit out experience and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

Managing all internal fit out and finishing packages on site
Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring programme targets are achieved
Monitoring quality and ensuring high-end finishes are delivered throughout
Managing health and safety across internal works
Liaising with project management teams, consultants, and subcontractors
Overseeing snagging, quality inspections, and handover processes
Ensuring materials and labour are coordinated effectively
Maintaining site records, progress reports, and documentation

Requirements

Proven experience as an Internal Fit Out Manager, Finishing Manager, or Site Manager on commercial projects
Strong background delivering high-end fit out and finishing packages
Ability to manage multiple trades within busy site environments
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Strong eye for detail and quality standards

Essential requirements include SMSTS, CSCS Card, and First Aid at Work.
