Demolition Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Demolition Supervisor to join our team on a project based in Greenwich. This is a contract position starting 5th May 2025 for an initial period of 2 weeks.

You will be responsible for overseeing all on-site demolition activities, ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently and in compliance with current health and safety regulations. You will manage and direct demolition operatives, liaise with the client and principal contractor, and ensure all necessary documentation is in order.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervising demolition operatives and subcontractors on site

* Conducting toolbox talks and ensuring method statements are followed

* Carrying out daily site inspections and completing relevant paperwork

* Ensuring all works comply with health and safety legislation

* Coordinating with the project team and reporting to the site/project manager

* Managing waste segregation and environmental obligations on site

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Demolition Supervisor (essential)

* Valid CCDO Supervisor Card (essential)

* SMSTS or SSSTS qualification

* Full understanding of CDM regulations

* Asbestos awareness certificate (minimum)

* First aid at work certificate (desirable)

* Excellent communication and leadership skills
