Opportunity

Are you an Internals Manager looking to take ownership of a major residential scheme in Stockport? This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected principal contractor delivering a £40m+ affordable housing development as part of the wider Stockport town centre regeneration programme.

As Internals Manager, you will play a key role in the delivery of 150 high-quality one and two-bedroom apartments, helping bring modern, sustainable homes through the internal fit-out stages and towards successful completion.

This Internals Manager position would suit someone who enjoys being site-based, driving progress, coordinating trades and working closely with a strong project team. You will be joining a live scheme with purpose, scale and genuine community impact.

Responsibilities

As Internals Manager, you will oversee the coordination and delivery of internal works across the apartment blocks, ensuring quality, programme, health and safety and subcontractor performance are managed effectively.

The Internals Manager will be responsible for managing internal trades, sequencing works, monitoring progress, resolving site issues and ensuring apartments are delivered to the required standard. You will work closely with the project team, design consultants, subcontractors and senior management to keep works moving efficiently through each stage of the build.

This is a hands-on Internals Manager role where communication, organisation and attention to detail will be key. You will help drive internal fit-out, finishes, quality checks, snagging and handover preparation, ensuring the finished homes meet the expectations of both the client and future residents.
