Senior Quantity Surveyor – Joinery & Interior Fit Outs

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a background working on Interior/Joinery based projects?

Approach Personnel are proud to be partnered with an independently owned Joinery and Build contractor, who are currently looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee their commercial operations within the business. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the full commercial management if projects from pre-construction through to completion.

What are we looking for?

* At least 5 years working as a Quantity Surveyor, for a similar joinery/build business

* Ideally, a degree in Quantity Surveying

* Strong knowledge of NEC, JCT, and bespoke contract management.

* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide full commercial management of commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects for the business.

* Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans and forecasts.

* Procure and manage subcontract packages, including tendering, negotiation and appointment.

* Maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
