Level Crossing Attendant

We are currently seeking reliable and safety-conscious Level Crossing Attendants to support operations at Sizewell. This is a short-term requirement with a minimum commitment of 9 shifts; however, there is strong potential for continued work for individuals who demonstrate high performance, professionalism, and flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

* Safely operate and monitor level crossing points in accordance with site procedures

* Ensure the safe passage of rail and road traffic at all times

* Communicate effectively with relevant personnel and follow signalling protocols

* Remain vigilant and respond appropriately to any irregularities or emergencies

* Maintain accurate records and logs where required

* Adhere strictly to all health & safety regulations and site rules

Requirements:

* Previous experience in a rail environment or safety-critical role is preferred

* Strong awareness of health & safety practices

* Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions precisely

* Flexible approach to working a mixture of day, back, and night shifts

* PTS (Personal Track Safety) and COSS (Controller of Site Safety)

* Must have the ability to travel to and from site independently due to the remote location

* Willingness to stay in hotel accommodation for the duration of shifts where required due to location and shift patterns
