Senior Architect – Education
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Architect to join the Gloucester office of a multi‑award‑winning Architectural Practice with a strong national presence. Renowned for delivering high‑quality, design‑led projects across multiple sectors, the practice is now seeking an experienced Architect to support and lead the continued growth of its Education team.
This role offers the chance to take ownership of significant Education schemes, guide project teams, and contribute to the strategic development of a well‑established and expanding regional studio.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading projects through all RIBA stages, managing client relationships, and ensuring the delivery of technically robust and design‑focused solutions. You will work closely with a highly skilled team and play a key role in shaping the practice’s Education portfolio within the region.
Candidate Requirements
RIBA Part 3 qualified Architect
Minimum 5 years’ post‑qualification UK experience
ARB registration (desirable)
Advanced proficiency in Revit (essential) with demonstrable portfolio evidence
Proven experience delivering projects within the Education sector
Strong understanding of Building Regulations and Education‑specific compliance
Confident managing projects, leading teams, and coordinating with stakeholders
Experience working across all RIBA stages
Excellent communication, organisational, and time‑management skills
Strong design capability supported by solid technical knowledge
