Estimator – Enfield Office (London Projects)

A well-established, family-run main contractor (operating for nearly 40 years) based in Enfield is seeking an Estimator to join their team.

Specialising in high-end refurbishment and restoration projects across Central London, they deliver both internal and external works for a stable portfolio of private and public sector clients. You’ll work alongside an experienced commercial and delivery team.

Key Duties:

* Prepare detailed cost estimates for refurbishment and restoration projects

* Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documentation

* Take-off quantities and prepare bills of quantities

* Source and obtain subcontractor and supplier quotations

* Evaluate and compare tender returns

* Build up rates and pricing schedules

* Identify project risks and value engineering opportunities

* Attend site visits and pre-tender meetings

* Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams

* Prepare tender submissions and supporting documentation

* Maintain and update cost databases and benchmarks

* Support handover of successful tenders to the commercial team
