Location: Wimbledon (initially office-based for pre-construction phase)
Salary: £75,000 + excellent career progression
About the Role:
We’re working with a well-established leader in the residential construction sector to find a driven and experienced M&E Project Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering a large-scale residential scheme from the ground up. The role begins with a 4–6 week pre-construction period in Wimbledon, setting the foundation for a successful and seamless project.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Lead the full M&E package delivery on a flagship residential development.

Manage the pre-construction phase, ensuring all design and compliance elements are in place.

Coordinate with designers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless system integration.
*
Oversee programme delivery, quality, and budget — ensuring nothing slips.
*
Carry out site inspections to uphold high standards of safety and workmanship.
*
Prepare project reports, handle variations, and keep stakeholders in the loop.
*
Mentor junior team members and collaborate closely with internal and external teams.
What We’re Looking For:
*
5+ years of M&E project management experience, ideally within Tier 1 or major residential firms.
*
Deep understanding of residential M&E systems — from design through commissioning.
*
Proven success managing complex build programmes and multi-disciplinary teams.
*
Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety protocols, and compliance requirements.
*
Confident communicator and team leader with a hands-on approach.
*
Organised, detail-focused, and calm under pressure.
