Salary: £80,000 per annum

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Estimator to join a major £50 million residential construction project in London. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and commercially aware professional with a strong background in pricing and tendering within the residential sector.

About the Role
You will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and supporting the tendering process for a high-value residential development. Working closely with pre-construction and delivery teams, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are competitively priced and commercially viable.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions

* Analyse drawings, specifications, and project requirements

* Source and obtain subcontractor and supplier quotations

* Evaluate and compare tender returns

* Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering options

* Support bid submissions and presentations

* Work closely with commercial and project teams to ensure accurate pricing

Requirements

* Proven experience as an Estimator within the construction industry

* Strong background in residential projects preferred

* Excellent numerical and analytical skills

* Strong understanding of construction methods and materials

* Ability to interpret drawings and technical documentation

* Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office
