Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester
Salary/Benefits: £26k – £43k + Training & Benefits
Due to recent company growth, our client is seeking a knowledgeable Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join their professional outfit. You will be attending a range of commercial, domestic and industrial premises, to conduct thorough asbestos surveys, and analytical duties. We are seeking someone who is an effective communicator, as you will be making appropriate technical recommendations to clients and answering any technical queries. Experience / Qualifications:
* Will hold the BOHS P402, P403 and P404 (or RSPH equivalent)
* Strong track record working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
* Flexible to travel in line with company needs
* Fully conversant in UKAS, HSG 264 and HSG 248 guidelines
* Comfortable using IT software
* Good literacy and numeracy skills
The Role:
* Undertaking detailed asbestos management, refurbishment and demolition surveys
* Obtaining asbestos samples from site
* Performing 4 stage clearances
* Carrying out personal, leak, smoke, re-occupation and background air testing
* Producing detailed technical reports and accompanying schematic drawings
* Liaising with removals teams to oversee the safety and compliance on sites
* Wearing correct PPE at all times
* Working to agreed deadlines and personal targets
