Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Wigan, Greater Manchester
Salary/Benefits: £26k – £42k + Training & Benefits
We are recruiting on behalf of a UKAS accredited Asbestos consultancy, who are actively growing their presence in the North West of England. They are seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to cover contracts across the M62 and M6 corridors. You will be undertaking the full range of surveys, ensuring to maintain high levels of service and acting as a key point of contact for clients. You will be joining a privately-owned and medium-sized outfit, who can offer excellent further training, excellent salaries and benefits packages.
Locations of work include: Wigan, Skelmersdale, Leigh, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale, Oldham, Stalybridge, Stockport, Altrincham, Eccles, Warrington, Runcorn, Frodsham, Ellesmere Port, Liverpool, Knutsford, Wilmslow, St Helens, Prescot, Liverpool, Birkenhead, Formby, Southport, Chorley, Preston, Blackburn, Lytham, Burnley, Ormskirk, Bradford, Halifax, Huddersfield, Leeds.
Experience / Qualifications:
* Proven experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor, within a UKAS accredited company
* Must hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent
* Robust industry knowledge, including HSG 264 guidelines
* Comfortable communicating directly with clients
* Good literacy and numeracy skill level
* Proficient in using IT software
The Role:
* Conducting the full range of demolition, management and refurbishment asbestos surveys
* Ad-hoc re-inspection surveys
* Producing comprehensive survey reports and floor-plans/drawings
* Safely collecting ACM samples from site
* Meeting with clients to provide updates and technical support
* Maintaining the company’s strong reputation
* Travelling in line with the company’s requirements
