This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join a well-established construction and building services contractor delivering a varied portfolio of projects typically ranging from £100k to £1m.
This role offers a genuine level of ownership and autonomy, working within a close-knit team where decisions are made quickly, your input is valued, and you are not lost within layers of management.

The Role – Mechanical Project Manager
This is a delivery-focused role where you will take full responsibility for multiple mechanically biased projects from initial handover through to completion.
Projects are typically fast-paced and varied, including plant replacements, HVAC upgrades, smoke extract systems, and refurbishment works across commercial, healthcare, education, and high-end residential environments.
You will have full control of programme, commercial performance, and delivery strategy, with the support of an experienced senior team.
Responsibilities
* Full ownership of projects from contract award through to completion
* Managing programme, procurement, installation, and commissioning
* Commercial responsibility including cost control and subcontractor management
* Coordinating site teams and specialist subcontractors
* Maintaining strong client relationships throughout delivery
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within M&E Building Services
* Strong technical knowledge across HVAC, plant rooms, pipework, and associated systems
* Experience delivering projects in the £100k–£1m range
* Comfortable managing both programme and commercial aspects of projects
* Stable career history demonstrating long-term commitment
* Proactive, detail-oriented approach suited to an SME environment
Remuneration Package – Mechanical Project Manager
* £70,000–£85,000
* Company car or car allowance
