£60,000 – £75,000 + Package

A well-established and growing construction business specialising in high-quality commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects is looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.

This is a great opportunity to join a forward-thinking contractor delivering fast-paced, varied schemes across the commercial, office, retail and specialist interiors sectors. You will play a key role in managing project costs from inception through to final account, working closely with project managers, clients and subcontractors to ensure successful commercial delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

* Managing all commercial and financial aspects of multiple fit-out and refurbishment projects

* Preparing, submitting and agreeing interim valuations and final accounts

* Procuring and managing subcontractor packages

* Cost planning, forecasting and value engineering

* Managing variations, change control and risk

* Working closely with operational teams to ensure projects are delivered on budget

* Maintaining strong commercial reporting and project financial control

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction, fit-out or interiors

* Strong understanding of subcontractor procurement and commercial management

* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

* Excellent negotiation and communication skills

* Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail

* Degree qualified or equivalent (QS or construction-related discipline preferred)
